Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25, 1970) is an American actress best known for portraying the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter and Dr. Sydney Hansen on NBC's Providence drama, and the medicine drama The Resident. She also received applause for her television debut role in Guiding Light on CBS as Eleni Cooper. Her most notable movies include 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life by Elisabeth Kubler Ross, the writer of the Immortals film Immortals has been adapted for the large screen. Her role will be alongside Vlas Parlapanides as well as Charley Parlapanides. In addition, she is filming a brand new series called Gods & Heroes.
