Ina-Garten

Ina Garden is an American book author, who has been awarded Emmy award. She hosts the most popular Food Network show, Barefoot Contessa. The show began in 2002. It is scheduled to air for 27 more seasons. Ina started her career in the White House as a writer of nuclear energy policies and also the budget. Although she initially found it intellectually stimulating she eventually stopped her interest. So she purchased the Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food shop. Prior to selling the company it took her 18 years building it into the most successful shop. Others followed, and so magazines too. Another success was her Food Network Television show. She sells many items, from the ingredients needed for food preparation to kitchenware, storage and even cooking equipment. Ina has never been to any cookery schools or had a job in a restaurant. She she is completely self-taught. She is known as a cook who is simple and has her entertaining cooking style. Her most well-known dishes include Skillet with roasted lemon chicken and Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & cheese Beef Bourguignon. Balsamic-roasted Brussels Sprouts, Lemon Bars as well as Mac and cheese.
